Creating connections that last a lifetime.

Every child deserves the stability and love of a permanent family.

While many families begin their adoption journey dreaming of infants, hundreds of wonderful children of all ages are waiting for someone to call "family." The average age of these waiting children is 13 years old.

Who are the children waiting?

These children and teens have often experienced difficult circumstances, including trauma from abuse or neglect. Yet with the right family support, consistent love, and access to resources, they can heal, thrive, and reach their full potential.

The most successful adoptive families approach parenting with:

  • Flexibility and patience
  • Willingness to learn specialized parenting techniques
  • Openness to ongoing education and support
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care
