There are over 4,000 children in foster care in Colorado today and not nearly enough foster families to care for all of them. Approximately 64% of children in foster care are over the age of 6 years old and sibling groups are common. At Hope’s Promise, we are motivated and guided by our faith to meet this need. We are actively partnering with the Christian community to recruit quality foster parents and provide them with the training and support needed for success. Foster parents play a critical role in providing a safe, nurturing environment for the children in out-of-home care while supporting the biological family’s growth so these children can return home or to a safe relative.
