Phong came home to a Hope’s Promise family in April 2019. He is thriving with one brother, two sisters, and house parents. He enjoys school. Phong was born in Vietnam,
a middle-income country with a growing economy. However, ethnic minority children living in rural areas are more likely to become orphaned and to drop out of school to work at very young ages. They are less likely to receive adequate adult supervision or medical services, which are located far away.
Your sponsorship provides Phong and his family with basic needs, such as food, shelter, medical care, and education. You also give Phong the love of a permanent family, belonging, and hope for his future.
