Dat came home to a Hope’s Promise family in August 2010. He is thriving with two brothers, a sister, and house parents. Driven to graduate from high school, Dat’s
favorite subject is computer science. Dat was born in Vietnam, a middle-income country with a growing economy. However, ethnic minority children living in rural areas are more likely to become orphaned and to drop out of school to work at very young ages. They are less likely to receive adequate adult supervision or medical services, which are located far away.
Your sponsorship provides Dat and his family with basic needs, such as food, shelter, medical care, and education. You also give Dat the love of a permanent family, belonging, and hope for his future.
