Our Infant Domestic Home Study Program

Hope’s Promise provides the following services to Colorado families who are applying to a non-Colorado agency to adopt a child through domestic adoption:

  • SAFE Home Study that meets Colorado requirements
  • A minimum of six months of post-placement supervision to meet Colorado requirements and additional supervision as required by placing agency or county
  • Court filing and representation for legal finalization
  • 16 hours of state required adoptive family education provided by Hope’s Promise
  • Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC) services
  • Agency cooperative services
  • Compassionate, on-going communication with adoptive family
Hope’s Promise Adoptive Family Criteria*
  • No family size restrictions
  • Couples who have been legally married for at least two years
  • No infertility restrictions
  • Christian families required
  • No age criteria
