Beth Woods, MA

Executive Director

Beth earned her Master’s Degree in Human Services from Liberty University, specializing in marriage and family counseling. She and her husband are the adoptive parents of three boys and Beth feels honored to be working with Hope’s Promise where she can help facilitate the adoption process for others. She has been with Hope’s Promise since 2004.

Rachel Bates, BSW

Director of Adoptions

Rachel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Colorado State University. She was a caseworker eight years before becoming Director of Adoptions. Her sister was adopted domestically through Hope’s Promise over 25 years ago and she has been involved in the gift of adoption ever since! She lives in the Denver area with her husband.

Lorie Bailey, BS

Associate Director of Orphan Care

Lorie earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources from Colorado Christian University. She and her husband have an adopted grandson from Russia. Through the journey to bring him home, Lorie’s love for orphans was sparked with a new fervor. Lorie is grateful for the opportunity to put into action her desire to do something more.

Kaye Ferguson

Director of Operations

Kaye joined Hope’s Promise in 2006 as a volunteer for our Orphan Care Program in Kenya and started as Director of Operations in 2008. Kaye is both an adoptive mother and adoptive grandmother. She is especially thankful to be part of helping provide children with loving homes both domestically and internationally.

Diane Elliot, MBA

Development Specialist

Diane Elliot is an author, professional photographer, and Development Specialist at Hope’s Promise. In 2010 she had the opportunity to write a book with Moody Publishing about the orphan crisis which broke her heart and refocused her trajectory. Today her life’s mission is to advocate for orphaned and vulnerable children around the world.

Liz Melia, MSW

Colorado Caseworker

Liz earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Colorado State University. Becausse adoption is part of her personal journey, Liz has developed a heart and passion for working with birth parents and adoptive families. She is excited to see God’s plan for Hope’s Promise and the families touched by the agency.

MaryBeth Caudle-Brooks MSW

Denver Metro and Northern
Colorado Caseworker

MaryBeth grew up in Southern California. As an adoptee she has always had a love for children, families and the special bond of adoption. While receiving her Master’s of Social Work at the University of Denver she traveled to Kenya where God placed in her heart a call to support children both in the U.S. and abroad. She and her family are beginning their journey of fostering and she is delighted to be serving at Hope’s Promise.

Bobbi Kline, MA

Western Colorado Caseworker

Bobbi earned her Master’s Degree in Human Services from Liberty University, specializing in marriage and family counseling. Prior to joining Hope’s Promise, she served for 11 years as executive director of a non-profit parenting program. She has two grown sons and two beautiful grandchildren.  She is honored to serve in a Christian ministry that helps build forever families.

Julie Zaruba, MSW

Southern Colorado Caseworker

Julie earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. Before joining Hope’s Promise she worked as an Infant Mental Health Therapist in Michigan and as a Pregnancy Counselor and Adoptive Family Caseworker in Colorado Springs. She is honored to be working with a wonderful team of people at Hope’s Promise and in an agency that is ministry minded.

Tami Davidson, MSW

Adoption Program Assistant
and Inter-country Specialist

Tami earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. She worked with another adoption agency for 11 years before joining Hope’s Promise in 2010. She is passionate about adoption and loves seeing families built through adoption. She and her husband have three children, two through adoption and one biological child.

Hannah Crouse, BA

Donor Relations and Child
Sponsorship Coordinator

Hannah grew up joining her parents who led short-term mission trips to Kenya each summer. During one of these summers, Hannah served at an orphanage in Nairobi and fell in love with children there and developed a passion for serving orphans. It is with great joy that she now works at Hope’s Promise and serves children worldwide.

Jonna Tellinghuisen

Bookkeeper

Jonna grew up in the Midwest. She has over 30 years of experience in computers, finance and accounting through Government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and a CPA firm. She and her husband had a dairy farm in Iowa. She is now excited to be a part of the Hope’s Promise team and eager to see what God has planned for this ministry.

Kate Burwitz, BS

Office Manager

Kate grew up in Wisconsin and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin. Prior to joining Hope’s Promise, she worked for a different Christian child sponsorship organization in Colorado Springs. Her brother was adopted domestically and she has a heart for children and ministry.

Sarita Enyeart, MSW

Contract Case Worker

Sarita grew up in Nepal.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Washington University. During her undergraduate studies God put in her heart a call to serve children and their families as a social worker. She is thankful to be following her calling at Hope’s Promise.

Heather Rohlwing, BS

Records Clerk

Heather is a Colorado native who earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from CU Boulder.  She and her husband have four children and together, they own an alpaca ranch in Parker. Heather is grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Records Clerk for Hope’s Promise and be a part of this worldwide ministry.

Jacob Briggs

Development Assistant

Jacob Briggs started his internship in January of 2017 and is studying Organizational Leadership at Arizona State University Online. Jacob has had two siblings adopted through Hope’s Promise, and comes from a very involved family consisting of both HP staff and board members for the last 11 years. He hopes to continue working in the nonprofit field after graduating from college.

Janae Hengst

Social Work Intern

Janae is a Hope’s Promise intern, currently earning her Bachelors in Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver.  Working in adoption became an interest and then a passion of hers over the last six years as God has guided her through school.  She is excited to be a part of Hope’s Promise and take part in caring for orphans.  She and her husband live in Colorado Springs with their four children.

Jasmine Morrell

Development Intern

Jasmine is currently a junior studying Marketing at Arizona State University because of her love for writing, graphic design, and photography. After taking a trip to Kenya with Hope’s Promise in 2017, Jasmine knew that she wanted to do more to serve the orphans around the world. She’s currently the Development Intern for Hope’s Promise and is excited to be able to grow her skills while also being able to serve children around the world.
