This is not payment for being a foster parent but reimbursement for expenses like food, clothing, and activities. The foster care stipend cannot be a primary source of income.
Yes! Many foster parents work full-time. You'll need to arrange appropriate childcare, just as you would for biological children. We can help connect you with resources for childcare assistance.
