John & Rachel

IMG_1775 (2)Dear Birthparent,

We are deeply grateful for you choosing the gift of life for your child. We know that this is a difficult time for you and we admire your strength. We are humbled and excited for you to consider us as adoptive parents for your child. We pray that God will give you peace and wisdom throughout this process.

Through years of trying to conceive a child of our own, God has had a different plan for how we create our family. After talking to infertility specialists, we knew the medical route wasn’t an option to have a child. IMG_5507 (2)We have always talked about adopting even before we were married and we believe now God has put this in our hearts for a reason. We are very excited to become adoptive parents.

We both grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. We went to different high schools but met through our church on a mission’s trip in Mexico. We both started having interests in each other, but in Gods timing we didn’t start dating until three years later. We dated for two and a half years and finally married on July 2, 2005.

IMG_6034 (2)John is a graphic designer and owns his own company. He is an amazing artist and loves to oil paint, take photos and design. John works from home and will be able to be a stay at home dad!!

Rachel is an operating room nurse. She works on a pediatric heart team. She has an awesome and sturdy job. She’s able to work Monday through Friday 7-3:30 and be home in the evenings and on the weekends. Rachel loves what she does and I believe that is because she has a deep passion for children in need.IMG_8819 (2)

We may not be parents to a baby yet, but we are parents to two dogs. Tag is a bull-matian. He is half American bulldog and half Dalmatian. We got him when he was nine weeks old and is now five. He is loving and loves meeting new people. He also loves to sleep underneath the covers in our bed. Our second dog is Winston who is an English bulldog. We got him when he was two and is now close to being three. He is the funniest dog ever. He loves to snuggle up right next to you. He walks around with his tongue hanging out and always showing his snaggle tooth. They are excited about getting a two legged brother or sister that will play with them.

P1030050 (2)We have a wonderful marriage and are excited about expanding it through adoption. Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We are so excited about becoming parents. We know that we would love and cherish your baby and help him/her excel with the talents God has blessed them with. Please know we are praying for you and your child daily.

With all our Love, John and Rachel
