House Of Hope

Our goal in caring for the fatherless and orphaned is to place them in small, family like homes where they will be cherished and cared for as God intends. House of Hope is that home in Sierra Leone. Located in the capital city of Freetown, House of Hope cares for 10 orphans, in addition to three staff children. This Christian home provides a safe haven for these children to grow up in. Here they receive food, clothing, medical care, a Christian education...and an opportunity to know Jesus.

Hope's Promise provides ongoing supervision and training for our dedicated Sierra Leonean staff in the areas of child development, grief and loss, parenting, attachment and nutrition among others. We want to equip them to more effectively deal with the parenting challenges these children bring due to poverty, spiritual oppression, and the aftermath of a brutal civil war.

Pastor Samuel Neufville serves as our country coordinator; he and his wife are the house parents. In addition, House of Hope has three mommies who assist in raising the children.

House of Hope is dependent upon faithful donations.
