Hope’s Promise provides the following services to Colorado families who are applying to a non-Colorado agency to adopt a child:
- Home-study that meets Colorado, USCIS and Hague requirements
- A minimum of six months of post-placement supervision to meet Colorado requirements and additional supervision as required by placing agency or country
- Court filing and representation for legal finalization or validation of the foreign adoption
- 16 hours of Adoptive Family Education Workshops given by Hope’s Promise
- 10 hours of Hague training
- Assistance with your I 600 and I 800-A filings with the USCIS
- Compassionate, on-going communcation with adoptive family
