Thank you for taking the time to consider us as adoptive parents for your child. We hope you are able to get a sense of who we are through our family profile and the pictures you will see. Our home is filled with laughter, love and happiness. We are honored to share our lives with you.
Scott was born in Williston, North Dakota. His family moved to Denver
when he was twelve and they still reside here. His father is in the oil business. His mother assisted in running the family business and was a stay at home mom. Scott has a younger brother who lives locally and is also in the oil business. Scott attended college at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma and the University of Colorado. He has been a professional golfer for over 17 years and also assists in the family’s oil business.
I was born in San Antonio, Texas and was an Air Force brat. I have one brother who is two years older than me. My family moved many times throughout my childhood with our final destination being
Cheyenne, Wyoming. I attended the University of Wyoming and received a degree in Social Work. I have lived in Denver for 17 years working in the social work field. For the past 9 years I have worked in the hospital field as medical social worker.
Scott and I met through mutual friends. We have now been married for 11 years with our anniversary recently taking place December, 2010. We feel we have a strong and fun relationship. There is much laughter and love in our home. Scott and I love to watch movies, travel, and have “date nights”. Our son Blake is 6. He is the love and sunshine of our lives. He is a sweet and kind child who is anxious to be a big brother. Bogee is our little Shih Tzu puppy who we absolutely adore. We are surrounded by wonderful friends and family and are blessed in our lives.
We have been unable to have children of our own which led us down the path to adoption. A second child in our home will be a wonderful presence and we are excited to be adding another member to our family. We look forward to meeting you and discussing the degree of openness all of us will be comfortable with. We have so much respect for birth parents and feel God has led us to this agency and ultimately to you.
Thank you for your time!
Heather, Scott, Blake, Bogee
